How to Repair an HP C5150 Printer Ink System?

Confirm that you have an error code on your HP C5150 Printer Ink System that displays as a 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code. This will show up on the front panel. Your should be unable to print, copy, or receive faxes on your HP.

It is imperative that you confirm the error code because you want to apply the correct solution to the problem.

  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  3. Take all of the ink cartridges out of the printer and wait approximately 2-3 minutes
  4. Plug the power cord in to the printer and turn the printer back on.
  5. Reinstall the ink cartridges when the print prompts you to do so.


If the original error code is still displaying, repeat this process again. If the error code remains after the second attempt, you need to contact HP or an HP-authorized repair facility in your local vicinity to have the source of the issue with your HP C5150 printer ink system professionally diagnosed and serviced.

    seems a paper feed problem - printer mentions "no paper" which is not
    the case - how to deblock paper problem ?
