Connect Local Printer Using Remote Desktop Connection

If you have a large number of computers to support and a limited amount of time, connecting to those computers remotely can save you a great deal of time and hassle. The ability to connect remotely will help you be more productive, but it is important to tweak those remote settings so that you can use your local printers and other resources.
 
Instructions



1. Log on to your computer and click on the "Start" button. Click on the "Run" option.
2. Type "mstsc" in the box and click "OK." Type the name of the computer to which you wish to connect when the remote desktop connection box appears.
3.Click on the "Options" button and go to the "Local Resources" tab. Click the "Printers" check box and click "Connect." When you connect to the remote computer, you will have access to the printers on your own computer.
